If you are a business owner, entrepreneur, C-Suite, or just doing cool shit I want to interview you!

I figured if I am going to accept ads for other businesses I should promote mine also! It would be a huge help if you could go check out and support my podcast below by simply hitting that subscribe button! You do not want to miss what I have in store for Q4 šŸ“ˆ

I am making a huge change to my core business the podcast I host called Beyond The Wealth!

For the past 17 months, I have been building a podcast where I interview interesting business owners, entrepreneurs, C-suite executives, and creators. Probably would have been easier to just say people doing cool shit in the world of business.

Just like most businesses, my show has gone through many stages. For example, my show was originally called The Virtual Ventures Podcast which maybe some of the OG subscribers remember! It also used to be 100% virtual episodes with primarily people who had built large audiences on X(Twitter). Then from there I pivoted and started really putting an emphasis on filming in-person episodes targeting successful people from Miami. In that transition, the show earned itself a new name the ā€œBeyond The Wealth Podcastā€!

In that time I was able to interview some of Miamiā€™s most well-known young entrepreneurs! (Click Here To Watch) I learned what it was like to work with a camera crew and set up a major production. I learned what it was like to produce your own in-person productions learning on the fly. (I donā€™t usually share this but I bought all the equipment and self-produced over 20 in-person podcasts solo with no team). I invested in high-ticket YouTube/Short form agencies and worked with the cheapest editors on the market. I have tried multiple content styles and angles. Almost anything content-related I have at least tried once.

Throughout that time I was just obsessed with the quality of the production and the packaging of the videos and I lost sight of what needed to happen for me to see the success I wanted. I would put all this time and money towards an episode and then the performance was not what I expected and it would continue to derail my confidence in what I was building. After banging out 65 episodes in 65 weeks I took some time off from the show and in that time I have been going back and forward with what I wanted to do going forward. Did I want to continue on this path hoping that one episode will take off and the rest is history or did I want to make a change?

After a lot of thought, I have decided to take the show in a slightly different direction. Instead of being hyper-focused on in-person episodes and high quality low quantity I am doing a full pivot. I want to put out 2-5 virtual episodes a week in Q4. I realized I donā€™t own a big enough piece of real estate on YouTube and the only way to get there is by uploading. Instead of focusing on finding a guest local to me in Miami, I can now interview anyone. I am taking the show back to its roots following the goal of meeting as many amazing people building or contributing to cool companies as possible.

I realized that looking at YouTube through a monthly lens was a recipe for disaster and failure. I am now looking at this from a long-term outlook and the more videos YouTube has to push out the better chances I have to grow a large audience. I realized that very little to none of you are tuning in solely off the fact the show is well-produced and high quality. 99% of the viewers come for the guest and return for me as a host. I need to give myself more at-bats and that is why I want to focus on virtual and sprinkle in-person episodes as the opportunities arise.

This to me will allow for the show to really find its feet and audience in this virtual world!

Also, I canā€™t forget to mention what this means for everyone reading this! More interviews and interesting conversations mean more high-quality tactical content for everyone who reads this. My goal is to cut down my 45-minute interviews into 5-10-minute reads for our heavily entrepreneurial audience. The more high-level individuals I can find the more free content I can provide to you all and hopefully help you keep scaling your business! That is my real goal!
